This past weekend I decided to enter Cheap Street at the Clash Finals in Houston. I knew I didnt have a chance in hell to win it :cool:but had friends in it and didnt mind helping them get a decent payout. Well I qualified #6 out of 6. That means I face #1 in the 1st round......Well #1 decided to test his oilpans ability to hold a rod in 2nd round of qualifying. It failed . So I get a bye in the first round that takes it down to 3 cars. Well on a NHRA ladder the #1 qualifier bracket gets the bye when its down to 3 in a 6 car feild.....So that means I am in the finals. The car was on the weekend. We fixed a issue with the car stumbling and the car responded with a string of 9.8's@136mph and 1.3 60fts. The finals brought another suprise. It pulled a 1.5160ft. I will let you figure out why the 60ft was off. I took runner up in a class with a 8.50 cap which most of the cars could run in the mid 8's with no problem. I faced a good friend of mine in the finals and ended up going .035 red, but I will take runner up money :woot:
