First off, it is an honor to be nominated for this. Second, I feel my car is nowhere near a pretty as the others on this list. All the others are gorgeous and mine, well, it is just my daily driven race car. So, here goes the chronicle of my monster.
http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r256/01cobra896/Cobra1.jpg
This is how the car started out. I bought it in March 2005. I am the third owner and I bought it from a CarMax dealer in San Antonio while I was there TDY.
http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r256/01cobra896/000_0012.jpg
The interior of my car has not changed much. I have added some stuff but not much.
http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r256/01cobra896/eric4.jpg
This is a pic CobraDan took of my car shortly after I added the coilovers, gears and rebuilt the IRS.
http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r256/01cobra896/IMG_0042.jpg
This is how the motor looked for a long time. Now there is some new stuff in there. I just do not have any good pics of that yet.

Just a fun drive down A60.
http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r256/01cobra896/CIMG0493.jpg
I was forced to get a new hood when the ex wrecked the car while I was deployed. Luckily the old hood took most of the damage.

Random pics of the car.
http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r256/01cobra896/IMG_0047.jpg
The Superman/Spiderman look. This hood is staying for a while. Thank God it is the same color as the car now.
http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r256/01cobra896/8-1.jpg
Added a new front bumper after returning from another deployment. Thank God it is painted as well.

That is it for what is actually installed on the car. If I were to start adding the other parts I have collected and plan to add to the car, the list would grow even longer. You can ask Jim or Brian how my spare bedroom looks. I almost have enough parts to build another 4V motor and I have some other gauges and interior stuff to do. Like I said, this car is a work in progress but I love driving it as much as possible. Here is a video of what I love doing with her.

My car is a 1965 Caspian Blue Mustang coupe, given to me by Jim as a Christmas gift....yeah..the best damn Christmas gift anyone's ever gotten. :D The plan is to restore it, and keep it all stock/all original. So far, I/we have replaced the wheels, pony grille, all emblems, side ornaments, taillights, some of the dash components, rear window cranks, and some of the door components.
Some new old stock replacement parts I have waiting to be installed are the door panels, sun visors and brackets, rearview mirror, side mirror (the 65 only came with one, I believe the passenger side mirror was an option), and some various replacement screws.
Plans for the future include a new paint job, disk brake conversion, and the installation of rear seat belts. Now, on to the photos.
Here are some pics Shaun sent to me before we picked it up.

I am actually kind of glad that I am not receiving any votes (I didnt even vote for myself, Go SWERVO!!). My self "nomination" was more of a joke than a serious thing. I'm not Military, and I dont want to take any honors that should deservingly go to someone that is.

I'll make you a deal Will, I will line up next to you on the 1/4 if you will ride shotgun once in my car on the auto-x and let me suck your eyeballs out of your head. I know your ride is not set up for it. Trust me when I say it is a blast. I scared the shit out of Jim a few times going thru some curves.
