I'm just gonna go with the write up I did last month, so here it is.

My car is a 1965 Caspian Blue Mustang coupe, given to me by Jim as a Christmas gift....yeah..the best damn Christmas gift anyone's ever gotten. :D The plan is to restore it, and keep it all stock/all original. So far, I/we have replaced the wheels, pony grille, all emblems, side ornaments, taillights, some of the dash components, rear window cranks, and some of the door components.
Some new old stock replacement parts I have waiting to be installed are the door panels, sun visors and brackets, rearview mirror, side mirror (the 65 only came with one, I believe the passenger side mirror was an option), and some various replacement screws.
Plans for the future include a new paint job, disk brake conversion, and the installation of rear seat belts. Now, on to the photos.

First off, thanks for the nomination. This is my first one for MS. Second, I'll put up as many specs on my car as I can remember, (I'm in Kunsan for my short tour). So here goes.

Car is a 1997 Rio Red Cobra with black interior. Last I can remember it has about 117K on the clock. Now on with the goodies.

Stock block bored .020 over to fit the 8.5 to 1 compression manley pistons hooked up to eagle H beam rods and the stock crank.
Stock heads, cams, valves and springs.
Stock upper and lower intake manifold with IMRC deletes
Pro Turbo Systems Turbo kit with PT-67 P-Trim Turbo 15lbs of boost
Lightning 90 mm MAF
42lb injectors
250 lb per hour in tank pump

Car made 585rwhp and 600rwtq on a Land and Sea dyno in Ogden Utah. Before I left for Kunsan I got it to run my best time ever at 11.19 at 125 mph. A little about the car:

It was retired in 1996 from the Arizona Department of Public Safety in 1996 with 167K miles on the clock. I bought it in 2001 with 265K while I was stationed in Phoenix. I contacted the AZ DPS to get some history on the car while it was in service but they told me after 3 yrs of retirement the records are thrown out. Currently has 303K miles.

I had the car for 2 yrs in Phoenix as a daily driver. For the most part the car was stock. It dynoed 201 at the tires with a pair of mac shorties the rest being stock including the air silencer.
While I was in Korea after Phoenix I had a friend install my edelbrock heads and roller rockers.
When I finished my time in Korea I flew to Phoenix and drove my car to LA (to put on the boat) with no heat in December. It had sat so long my pretty much new heater core was plugged.

The car arrived in Europe in 2004 and after a little over a year my friends talked me into doing a restoration on it. The project snowballed and with the help of a few friends in a small garage we transformed this car into what it is today.

It has too many mods but here are a few:

- Cobra brake conversion
- heads,cam,intake,roller rockers
- almost everything from the Maximim Motorsports catalog
- installed the working police lights and siren
- run 275/40/17's on all 4
- 6 spd T-56 conversion
