I haven't logged on in long time but wanted to reconnect before we get there.

My husband will be in Weisbaden in early November and the kids and I will be there just before Christmas.

I was in Stuttgart in the late eighties but I was single.

I would appreciate any tips and info about the area and what to expect. Also about shipping my mustang since the Army will only pay for one vehicle and husband will be shipping his mustang with that.

And job help, I am a registered nurse with ER and OR experience.

Shipping will run you around $2K using the same company the Army uses. As far work in area, I dont know. I was in Landstuhl. What does your husband do? I am in Aviation, and know there was some up there, but can't remember if they all left or not. There are a few members on here still in Germany that can give you more tips

My husband is currently 4th BCT S-4 NCOIC, but he will be in the 66th MI, I think so I'm not sure what he'll be doing once we are there. We had been told to expect between $1500 to $2000. It will be worth it to have my stang with me.

Does he ever drive your car to work? I thought I saw it a couple of weeks ago in the gate 5 area. Might have been outside gate 5 on 41A. I cant really remember where.

He has driven it to work on occasion but it was probably me you saw. I drive through there to get to work at Jennie Stuart.
