I know I'm not able to get anymore tattoos before basic, but how long after basic can I get another one?

Like, if I'm on hold to start a school, will I be able to get one than?

Do you plan for these tatts to be visible while in uniform?

If you get them in places that arent seen past where your uniforms cover, then nobody will know the difference. There are plenty of people that still get them right when they get out of basic when they get to their A-schools. The tattoo thing really isnt that big of a deal. Just get them where you can't see them under the uniform.
You coming here to Great Lakes? I'm guessing if your joining the Navy, you'll be here for at least boot camp. I wonder if your A school will be here too?

Yessir, 09072010 is my shipdate. My A and first C school will be in Charleston, SC, but I think the second C school will be in New York.

I want to get two more on my left arm to finish up the half sleeve I have going. One is going to be a ship for my sister (she's an ocean engineer in San Diego), and the other was going to be a chinese symbol for "son" near my wrist. My left arm is entirely for my family, and I just wanted to get it finished.

All the other tattoos I get (like most of what I have now) will not be visible while in uniform.
