i've always wanted to pick up an ASC McLaren Capri and do some conversion work on it. gotta be a Capri because of the buldgy fenders, rather than the Mustang arches. gotta be a McLaren because of the badass hiden vert top when it's down.

anyway... gut the entire car...

start fresh by putting on a new top if it needs it.

then installing a brand new interior, say out of a 1993 Cobra... all black, or the gray and black.... either one.

on the exterior, add a 1987-93 Mustang GT front bumper and put the 1993 Cobra grille insert in.
add 93 Cobra fender extensions, side skirts, and rear bumper cover... and GT door moldings. don't forget the 1993 Cobra taillights too.

need to make sure a pair of angle slashed, polished aluminum pipes are sticking out the ass end too. :cool:

once that is done, toss on a set of 1993 Cobra wheels (silver) and paint the lower portion of the vehicle silver and upper part sonic blue (the same two tone that graced some of the GTs, just with different colors)

oh and get a cervinis ram air hood on there too.. and toss on a 93 Cobra style wing for the added touch.

for the engine... nothing too fancy... just a 1993 Cobra spec 5.0 in there...


that would be one bad ass looking, yet so original (to the hardcore enthusiast), Mustang (Capri).

only thing id to do to a Caprie is Cobra sides and rear....

But you have to get the ABC exclusive Cobra add on parts for the LX mustang.....

That way the door and rear bumper molding is the same as the front.

(stock cobra has the molding molded in to the parts.....)

Wow and asc was Kind of cheap with there mustangs

See how the Front molding is GT and the rest from the door back is LX.....

I guess they look OK...not much better then that in my opinion though. Maybe a bright red one I could go for!!!

the Capris are cool... but i hate them dome glass on the rear hatch and the taillight panel. :nono2:

eh, just a conversation thread. sure, i'd love to be able to get into a project like that... but i doubt i'll have the time to do it anytime soon. :whoknows:
