post up a timeline of your car... when you bought it, and where it is today. tell us what you've done too.
the Cobra...
bought it bone stock in Nov 2003 with 10,000 miles on the clock.
the only thing i had done to the car in these pics was stick a runny pony in the grille (it had an old shelby snake in the grille when i bought it)
http://www.cobra-dan.com/cobra2.jpg
http://www.cobra-dan.com/cobra21.jpg
http://www.cobra-dan.com/cobra32.jpg
the first mod i did to the car was order the right snake for the grille and stick there in there...
i parked the car after two weeks of ownership to head to germany... i was there for 5 months before i flew home to get the woman... when i got home, i installed a 2003 Cobra rear bumper cover, had my 2003 Cobra side view mirrors from my last car painted and i installed those and i picked up a pair of 35th anniversary GT door panels. i installed a pair of smoked foglights and i also installed a Steeda Tri-ax shifter and MGW T bar shift knob as well as a few little interior upgrade pieces
http://www.cobra-dan.com/cobra29.jpg
http://www.cobra-dan.com/cobra17.jpg
http://www.cobra-dan.com/cobra78.jpg
on my next trip home... i added a pair 2003 Cobra side skirts, GT side scoops, black 18 x 9 FR500s wrapped in BFB KDWs (265/35/18), 50% taillight tint :nono2: (shame on me, peeled it off on my next trip), and a pair of strut caps (used to be stock equipment on 94-95 stangs)

http://www.cobra-dan.com/cobra68.jpg
http://www.cobra-dan.com/cobra46.jpg
i actually bought 2 different hoods for this car... niether worked out...
i bought a 2000 Cobra R hood... UPS dropped it and broke it
and i bought a 2003 Mach 1 hood and shaker set up... but the selller dropped it and broke it.
anyway, on the next trip after that, i added a new, two tone leather wrapped steering wheel. i think thats it. i went back 6 months later. :whoknows:
http://www.cobra-dan.com/newcobra8.jpg
and for the next trip home, in Dec... i have a pair of flowmasters, highflow SLP cats, Bullitt pedals, Bullitt fuel door, Saleen S281 wing and i MIGHT paint my Bullitt side scoops and install those... i dunno.
thats it for me. i may post up the V6 tomorrow or something. :coffee:

2004 Cobra. Bought it April 17 this year with 16,000 on the odometer. So far I have a Magnaflow cat back, JLT CAI, Steeda 2.80 blower pulley, Afco pro series heat exchanger (still in the box due to my laziness), Cobra grill emblem, style bar, window tint, Cobra floor mats and a couple billet interior dress ups.

bone stock when i bought her in Feb 2005 with 6,000 miles.
http://www.cobra-dan.com/vsicks4.jpg
http://www.cobra-dan.com/vsicks8.jpg
i knew i was buying the car before i actually picked it up, so i had a few parts laying around at my house ready to go on...
i installed a rear bumper letter kit, a 35th anniversary honeycomb panel, mach 1 grille delete, mach 1 chin spoiler, GT fog light kit and a set of reverse glow gauges from UPR.
http://www.cobra-dan.com/vsicks13.jpg
http://www.cobra-dan.com/vsicks27.jpg
http://www.cobra-dan.com/vsicks11.jpg
http://www.cobra-dan.com/vsicks24.jpg
http://www.cobra-dan.com/vsicks18.jpg
next, i added GT side scoops...
http://www.cobra-dan.com/darkshadow14.jpg
then i bought and installed a factory cruise control kit for the car... pic and install here...
http://www.forums.militarystangs.com/showthread.php?t=1174
then came an LED rear brake light...
http://www.cobra-dan.com/vsicks23.jpg
then one day i decided to sell the car... so i removed and sold the chin spoiler, grille delete, and the honeycomb panel. i took the billet stuff out and took it home to the Cobra... i took the LED brake light out and mailed it to my dad for his car. and i was messing around and ruined the gauges... so the car is back to stock except the side scoops, cruise control, and fog lights.:whoknows:

trust me. you dont wanna see what my car has looked like!
Bought mine about 2 years ago. It was born green, but was blue when I got it.
1st thing I did was have the tranny rebuilt.
Then replaced a missing door handle and some interior parts.
Then started on eliminating rattles. (mostly loose crap in the trunk)
Then painted it the color all Stangs should be. :D
Added an MSD and gears
Then rebuilt the motor.
Then lowered the front via cutting the springs.  Best mod for dollar so far ($0)

Unpainted new roush side skirts and new borla side exit exhaust. A work in progress. I've finally decided on a body i want. Shinoda chin spoiler is on the way to make the front level with the sides. My vision is for it to be visually the same concept as the Cobra R- low in the front, high in the back with a staggered look due to the side exhaust. imagine it had a chin spoiler. if my car were to have a concept or theme other than the cobra r i love so much it would be the merging of classic and modern new edge designs. and doing it cleanly. its taken me a lot of time and money to come to the decision i have on what i want it to look like but the end result makes it worth it to me.
i've got the paint job locked on as soon as it gets tuned to paint the rear spoiler and side skirts.
http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b45/MustangSteveGT/weakdrawing2.jpg
This is very rough concept drawing using microsoft paint. its ghetto i know
i know you'll all make fun of it but oh well whatever. i like it
Quite an evolution, MustangSteveGT.

2005 GT purchased in April 2006 with only 1300 miles on it. Yes, 1300. You can be jealous. :D
I've done absolutely nothing to it yet other than a couple oil changes but I plan on having alot of fun with this thing. Lots of performance upgrades will come in the future but for the time being I'm still enjoying the power I'm getting from stock.

For the exterior I'm thinking of putting a Boss kit on it. Or I may go the other way and give it a Saleen look. I'm still confused. One thing I definately want to stay away from is getting an ELNR kit or anything that will make my car look anything like it.....too played out.....which is kind of a shame because Cervini's makes me happy in pants.

I've seen some stangs out there with the bullit dash, nobs, lock pins, etc and liked the look of that so I'll definately end up ripping out the dash on this one. I'm also thinking about going with 2 tone leather seats but that's going to be very low on my priority list.

too bad that kit will make you very unhappy in the pocket book though.
nice car dude. i'm a huge fan of the 2005+ Mustangs. i'll have one someday.
edit: as far as the dash goes... no need to rip it out... just buy the interior dress up kit pieces and install them.

You ain't lying. 12 grand to have them just do the body kit and I think it can go anywhere up to like 26 g's........which is more than I paid for my car to begin with.

yeah, their prices are usually competitive and their quality is second to none... but that new kit is crazy. it looks sharp, but for the price, i'd find something else.
the new Saleens are simply amazing... their best yet in my opinion.

Oh yeah, that C500 is a freaking animal. 535 horses under the hood = raging woody. I don't doubt the quality of their work at all. I was searching around the net the other day and came across this particular Stang and was rather impressed with it and think I'd like to go in this general direction as far as the exterior is concerned.

eh, all that is going on there is a hood and duck tail spoiler. both nice additions... especially that hood... but the fact that he put Cobra emblems on it and GT500 side stripes... that totally lessens that car.
