I got notified today! :D :D :D Its freaking amazing! My line number is 102! I am still having a hard time believing this myself. For those that don't know, only 1% can actually hold this grade in the entire 4 services combined. I am so blessed.. I have such a good supporting family both here and at home!
I am going to be a cross-posting mutha on my internet forums! :lol:
The party starts tomorrow! I think all the people that got promoted have to put up around $200 on the bar! Wish you all were here to enjoy it with me. :nod: :nod: :nod:

Yeap, man...its amazing. I never thought I could do it. I was the only one in my career field on this base to make it. My best friend here made it, so its cool we made it together. Nice big celebration tomorrow! :)

Thanks all. Still a big blur for me. I hope I can stay in Hawaii. Hell I could be coming back to the mainland or even to another country. I will find out more in the next few weeks. Need to get ahold of my assignments counselor in TX. We will see! Lots of meets and greets today! Lots of handshaking going on...and lots of drinking! :)

Jem: Where did you see the blue stripes at? Actually, those are paper stripes only used for the promotion ceremony.

What was great is when I went through the Gauntlet and got tagged by about 40 Chiefs. Our Wing Commander has a policy of no tagging. The Chiefs didn't care. :lol:
