im gonna kick my own ass if thats what is wrong ill have that checked
Had a similar condition occur with the elims in my 97 Cobra. I took them out, cleaned up the connectors real good, re-installed them and sealed them in electrical tape, and voila the problem never came back for the rest of the 226,000 miles that I drove the car...
What kind of MILs did you install? They might not be working properly.

they are dallas mustangs plug in types...im gonna get my upper 02 sensors replaced in a week or two and see if that fixes the problem...if not im gonna try cleaning up the mil eliminators and electrical taping them...and if all else fails im gettin a SCT tuner and turning the back 02 sensors off
Try disconnecting the battery for about 30 mins(I know you did this already) BUT before you reconnect it, depress the brake pedal for about 5 seconds....this will clear the memory from the ECM....this was told to me by a very good and trusted Ford Tech.
If that don't do the trick, clean the connectors as Skip said, then go for the larger sum of money with the new O2 sensors. Let us know what you find out.

yeah i got a set of Steeda MIL eliminators from Dallas mustang a while back and haven't had a problem. but prior to that i had the 'wire-in' kind and those were junk to say the least.

The ones I had the prior stated issues with were from DMP as well. As I said after cleaning/taping they worked fine, but I eventually went with a custom tune that took care of the problem anyway... Hope it works out for you ! :D
