I got my CAI and tunes from Doug at www.bamachips.com, he has a HUGE rep of being one of the best tuners for S197's.
The install was cake, and the Xcal3 is a sweet little gadget.
I took it for a lap around the block, and I was so excited that I couldnt calm down to notice subtle changes. All I know is that the red line is higher, and this thing spins the wheels like no ones business. It even gets sideway when shifting to second. I'm afraid to see if it'll do it in 3rd.:o :D
So yeah, very happy, and the next mod is o/r mid pipe, then buy the rest when I get back from the desert.

I have one of these intakes too. I think it's the best one on the market.

Good to hear man! Did you get it painted in Alloy also?
I was trying hard for the JLT but deals kept falling through, so I picked up half of the Steeda set-up. Post pics when you can dude!
Evo Has or at least had the best deals on JLT IIs. I'm guessin he's outta stock.

You need to get that car on a dyno Corey! I want to see what kind of numbers your making with the Bassanis and that JLT.
I laid down 291 rwhp and 292 rwtq on a hundred degree day at 500 abl(Dynojet)
Mods:
JLT CAI/Evo tune (tune was on the lean side)
Spydershaft
Centerforce clutch
Findaza alum flywheel
With a lil more fuel in the mix and a cooler day I may have broke 300 RWHP

Those are nice numbers man. No exhaust upgrades what so ever eh? You can't put all that air in and not get it out yo! haha
I put down 26X or so on a Euro AWD dyno. The numbers were semi adjusted to a Mustang Dyno at about 279 or so. That was just with a damn good dyno tune and mufflers.
Well I have stinger axle backs but those don't really do anything. As soon as I decide what kinda FI is in my future I'll know if I'm getting L/Ts or not. I attribute a bit of those #s to the alum D/S and flywheel. Probably the clutch too. If I didn't have 4.10s and maybe the stock 3.55s that could freed up a pony or two.

when Ordering from www.bamachips.com (http://www.bamachips.com/) their are 3 tunes to choose from. Can some one help me and tell me what are the tunes for. I only will have the JLT CAI with SCT tuner and Pypes Violators AB
They base the tunes off the octanes of fuel you have available.
At least that is how Brenspeed does it...
I do my own tuning though... so I'm not sure.

For 91-93 octane, there are 3 diff types of tunes. Performance, Torque, and Race.
I have 91 Race, 91 Torque, and 87 Performance. I'm currently using 91 Race.
